Charles “Larry” McCaffrey, 77, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away December 20, 2021 with the family of his son and daughter-in-law, Bebo and Ellen McCaffrey, his granddaughters, Kayla, Miranda McCaffrey, and Savannah Hammond, comforting him at his bedside, and a visit from a lifetime friend “brother” Butch Thacker. Larry was born September 12, 1944, a son of the late Charles “Bud” and Hester McCallister-McCaffrey. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Ethel Ferguson and Betty Jean Watts and a brother Forrest “Bob” McCaffrey. He was a tough ole’ bird up till he took his last breath and entered his final resting place. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville followed by burial at Bowen Cemetery.
