My mother was one of a kind. Raised on a farm in Pocahontas Co worked at Watoga State Park with her special cousin Charlotte McKeever Emswiler, graduated from beauty school, married my dad Fred Karnes & had 2 daughters, Kimberly Gay & Eugenia Rae. She was a member of the Milton United Methodist Church where she met life long friends. She was a bright student, obedient daughter, loving sister, loyal friend, supportive & loving wife & mother, enthusiastic church member, she loved her family with her whole heart (parents, aunts, uncles, brothers, cousins, nephews, nieces,& proud mother-in-law (twice, Eric & Kevin). She loved her grandson Jax beyond what words can explain. It's so sad that in the end, the only thing she wants to see, she was unable to. You can bet she's watching him from heaven. God sure picked a true ANGEL when he chose her (plus he needed help keeping my sister in line..😂 lol).

We were together my whole life. I can only think of 4 times in my life that we didn't talk every day. In case you're wondering you were the best mom God could have given me.My childhood was so fun because of you. You made sure I stayed grounded in church & taught me how to treat others. Your last 14 months on earth we spent every second of every day together. They told me I couldn't do it by myself & to put you in a nursing home. But I knew they wouldn't keep your fingernails manicured & painted or you hair curled & teased in a beehive😂. I hope I made the right decision. It gives me comfort to know that Gena & Dad are with you now. You all have the best time together, until I get there of course 😂. I love you mom, thank you for everything you did & sacrificed for me. ❤️💔
