I lost my father in December and Anthony reached out to me make sure that I was doing well. There are interactions when you are grieving that you do not forget. Anthony was so kind. I listened to so many people tell me how sorry they were but Anthony's was different and so special. I wish his family well and hope they know how much working with him meant to me.

I had the opportunity to speak at length for a couple years on Anthonys final days. A special heart beat within his suffering body. His belief for Jesus Christ was unwaivering even as many prayers went unanswered. But as in all things, God answers in good time. Its not always the answer we want to hear, and we usually suffer the absence, but it is what is needed.
Your suffering is over my friend. Much love and respect.

I had the privilege of working with Anthony for several years at the USPS. While most of our interactions were via phone Anthony always presented himself as one of the most positive individuals I’ve ever known. When he became ill with cancer, he remained so positive that it was hard for me to understand but I quickly realized he must have had and strong faith and very strong and loving family. I know that you all must be hurting with his loss at this time, but hopefully in time and even though you won’t have Anthony here on earth, you will be able to call on your memories of him to help you through your day.
Thanks for allowing ne to share some of my thoughts about Anthony.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Anthony. I've worked with Anthony for many years, although not in the same office, not even in the same state. Anthony was always supportive and caring, checking in when things weren't always going well in my life. I will miss his constant positive and spiritual attitude, he will be greatly missed. Anthony loved giving us updates on his family accomplishments. May his spirit and joy of life bring comfort to all of you during this difficult time.

From the time you were a baby and I bounced you on my knee to our last conversation I have loved you and wanted only the best for you. The hope, love, determination, the wins and losses you have taught and lived will be long remembered. You taught us how to live and finally how to die. Rest gently in God's loving arms my brother.

My family and myself is deeply sorry for the loss of Anthony Mitchell. I cannot think of a person with stronger faith and devotion to the Lord than Anthony. He truly made my life better just by knowing him. Now heaven is better because he is there. He will be missed by all who knew him I am sure. Love and prayers to his wife and children.
