 Georgetta Stevens, 64, of Huntington, WV, passed away May 25, 2022. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor David Cardwell. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. She was born July 11, 1957 in West Hamlin, WV, a daughter of the late George E. And Mary Magdalene Vance Holley. She is survived by her husband, David D. Stevens and one sister, Kathy Cremeans, of Huntington, WV. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. I have faith that you are being cradled in our Lords arms. Safe and warm with no more pain and no more stress. You now have the comfort you deserve and peace of our Loving Lord.
I on the other hand, feel like a lost child without you. Now, the hard part begins. I must learn to live without you. I know, I can talk with you, but I will only imagine your laugh at my silly jokes, my foolishness and outrageous and most time, amusing behavior.
You have shown me love and kindness every day. You have been a Boss, a Friend, a Confidant and Mom. You always understood me, Guiding me with your wisdom. You remind me to be at my best and encourage me not to worry. I will forever keep you safely tucked in my heart until we meet again on the other side. I Love You my Dear Georgette.
