I’ll always remember our one and only Mimi and all of the down-on-the-farm experiences we had with her and Pawpaw. Without them, this city kid may never have discovered that eggs don’t just appear in styrofoam cartons, that pickled cucumbers and onions are much more delicious than they sound, or how to ride a pony named Princess. Thank you for showing us that making apple butter is something that should be everyone’s family tradition every October because there is not a jelly or jam in the world that can match homemade apple butter on a peanut butter sandwich. We love you and we’ll miss you!

During your time of grief you are much closer to God than before. You will discover that He comforts you, that He is aware of your grief and all your tears are written in his book. Share those beautiful memories you have of Mimi with others. Then others may add on their memories of her as well, and her legacy goes on. I will remember dear sweet Mimi, and her laugh, her beautiful hair, her stories she would tell, and her strong willed spirit! God gained him a precious angel for sure! God be with you all in this time of your grief! All my love- Maureen
