I work with Andy and didn't know Amanda but he loved her strength and how she diligently fought to stay with her family till the end, he shared this with me while I was experiencing the same thing with a loved one. Her Spirit lives on in those she new and loved and even in those who didn't know her personally, that's a testimony! May God's continued blessing, peace and comfort be with you all as you grieve over the loss of a missing part of you.

Amanda was a student of mine at TCMS.Such a quiet beautiful soul. She is the best example of the saying, “only the good die young.” I send my prayers and hugs to her family, especially Tanner. She is at peace and not in pain.. God be with her family in their time of grief… amen

Amanda supervised me during my graduate placement at Bellefonte Hospital. She was a kind and gentle soul. She taught me a lot about speech pathology but her outlook on life and her faith in Christ were the reasons I loved riding around with Amanda doing home health visits. Her love for Tanner was evident! Your mom was so proud of you Tanner. You have a unique story to tell and God will use you in a powerful way. Sending much love and many prayers. I know she will be greatly greatly missed.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Amanda's family and her many friends. As her former teacher, I will always remember her big sparkly eyes and her kindness and friendliness toward everyone. Over the past eleven years fighting this ugly disease, she has shown to us what determination and courage really are. May she be at peace, her pain is gone for good.
