Mr. Bennett will be so missed. He had worked many years with my son and helped our family with understanding many issues that my son had. This definitely was a shock. Our community lost a great man and he def will NEVER be forgotten. My sons appointments will never be the same.

Wayne was a kind soul that genuinely cared for the students he helped and everyone he encountered. It was a pleasure working with and knowing Wayne. He will be missed by Cabell County Schools students and staff and remembered for his empathy and the help he provided.

Family of Mr.Bennett he was an amazing counselor when I was in school. He helped me through some very difficult times at the young of an age, but his smile and enthusiasm is what keep me wanting more sessions with him. He will be missed by many.!

Dear loved ones of Me Bennett, I would like to send my condolences to you all. I would also like you to know that without him in school I would’ve never made it. He was the best mentor I have ever had, may his soul rest in peace and fly high to the heavens. I know saying sorry for your loss doesn’t help so I would like to say it anyways. Just know he changed my life and I’m forever great full.
Sincerely,
Raven Sloan
