Robert Paul Simpson, 73, of Milton, WV, passed away April 16, 2023, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born February 20, 1950, in Hurricane, WV, son of the late Estell Buford Simpson and Ada Lee Morris Simpson. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Ernest and Samuel Simpson. He is survived by his wife Terri Warren Simpson; daughter Kori Simpson; son Jo Jo Simpson (Kristina); stepson Richard Dudding; grandchildren Israel and Joel Simpson, Bridget and Barrett Dudding; sister Donna Fizer; and brother Bill Simpson. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar, by Pastor Kevin Shull. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research.
