Carl Gavin Andrew Ruby, 19, of Milton, WV, went home to meet his Heavenly Father on Wednesday May 10, 2023. He was born on Saturday November 8, 2003 in Charleston, WV. He is the precious grandson of Sue Laverty and the late Carl (Andy) Hysell Sr. of Milton, WV.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Andrea Michelle Hatfield and his father, Vinson (Pete) Ruby Jr., his loving uncles Randy Hysell (2T), Carl Hysell Jr., and Walter (Lee) Hysell, niece Savanha Lovejoy, and cousin Anthony Bailey.
In addition to his loving grandmother Sue, he is survived by his brothers James Ruby and Vinson Ruby III, sister Sarah Ann Lovejoy and their mother Kathie Oiler. Aunts and uncles that adored him include Bobby Hysell (Jennifer), Debby Black, Anita Dean, Darrell Hysell Jr, Megan Hysell, Marcie Sizemore and Michelle Murrell.
His precious nieces and nephews include James Lovejoy, Destiny Lovejoy, Autumn Lovejoy, Zackary Lovejoy, James Donald Ray Ruby, Jeremiah Ruby, Jonathon Ruby, Emily Ruby, Preston Pack, and James Ryan Ruby.
He is also survived by his special cousins that were like his brothers Randy Hysell II, and Walter Hysell.
Cousins include Candy McDaniels, Brii Vargas, Joshua Black, Leigha Pack, Hannah Griffing, Gabby Hughes, Christy Adkins, Robert Hysell, Katie Holbert, Hayleigh Hysell, Drayden Dean, Cameron Hysell, Mark Hysell, Luke Hysell, Darrell Jordan Hysell, Preston Hysell and a host of extended family and friends.

Gavin was such a sweet and caring young man, the pride and joy of his very loving family. He had a special love for basketball and the Green Bay Packers. He will be sadly missed by all.
