Eva Marie Watson Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1928 - 2023 Eva Marie Watson, 94, of Barboursville, passed away June 19, 2023. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2023 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Greg Lunsford. Burial will be White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born July 29, 1928 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Lon and Nora Cremeans Burks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Denver Watson. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Conn of Barboursville; one sister, Jean Casey; and grandson, Jason Carpenter. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. My best friends Mother.I will always cherish the love you always shown me throughout your life time. Letting me spend so many nights at her home an letting us kids laugh an play all night.She watched me grow up an made sure I was ok. She had so many friends in her life an she loved them all.So many jokes an laughs which will never be forgotten. I know God loved her too for her humble and kindness. She will always have a place in my heart.

One day a sweet sweet friend came into our lives. We laughed a lot , we cried some, and talked about everything. Eva was such a joy to be around. We loved you so much. Now she is with the Lord and one day soon we will see her again. Not in pain, no more hearing loss, no more crying and suffering. Love you Eva. See you soon
