 Johnathan Matthews Scarberry of Huntington, West Virginia, passed away on August 1, 2023. Services will be held on August 5, 2023 at Wallace Funeral Home in Barboursville from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Johnathan “JJ” was born August 1, 1984 in Ohio and lived out the rest of his days in Huntington. He was a loving husband father and friend. He is survived by his wife Mimeti Ilene Scarberry; children: Beyoncé Patrick, Isaac, Annaleece, Levi, Marrius Toney and two children in death Isaiah and John Mason; his parents Roy "John" and Debbie Scarberry; his mother-in-law Ilene Patrick and two fathers-in-law Archie Carey and Warren Timbers; his siblings Johné Scarberry Pesimer, Sheila Gibson, Charlie, and Roy Jr. and Denny; his grandchildren Kayden Scott Gray and Peyton Gray; along with a slew of nieces, nephews, and cousins, with lots of close friends he considered family as well.
