Justin was a great man. I am privileged to know him.
Justin was a highly effective engineer who liked to take out hard targets. He executed on huge projects at Red Ventures and delivered world-class outcomes. Beyond that, Justin helped recruit and define the core infrastructure team that moved RV to the cloud. He pioneered embedding cloud into our businesses. On top of this work, he gave more than a few folks new careers in cloud engineering by recruiting them and mentoring them to success. This changed people's lives.
Justin the kind of man who was committed to what he said he would do. This is what we are all looking for in another person - they show up and take action when they said they would. Justin dearly loved his family and talked about them frequently. Jessica and his kids. He cared about other people at work. He was always on and I personally had no fear when we was on the team or project, no matter how much risk was present.

Itβs very hard to read this obituary and see that sweet face of Justin knowing that this is all real. So young, so much left to do. He was so kind to me back when I knew him in high school. Our lives and journeys separate us all too often along with time, but the memories are what keep us interwoven for all of time. I am certain I will never ever forget him. No one who knew and loved him will. I am so incredibly sorry for you, his family, for losing him. The loss of this man is a huge one indeed. Iβm praying for and thinking of all of you constantly. Love you all. May God bring you peace and comfort that only he can in His own time.
