Mildred Mae Smith, 65, of Culloden, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. She was born March 26, 1958 in Charleston, W.Va., a daughter of the late, Roy and Clara Sowards Sovine. She is also preceded in death by four brothers, John, George, Clarence and James Sovine. She is survived by her companion, John Smith; one daughter, Nedonda Sovine; one son, James Sovine (Amanda); one sister, Ginger Sowards and three grandchildren, Autumn Hill (Matthew), Nova Sovine and Layne Reams. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Burial will follow in the Culloden Community Cemetery.
