Barbara Ellen Chapman Spears, 83, of Barboursville, WV, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023. She was the daughter of Dollie and Hansel Chapman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Spears; daughter, Mona Bowen; sisters, Freda White, Phyllis Cummings and Polly Chapman; brothers, Darrell Chapman and Ivan Chapman. She is survived by one brother, Doug (Sandra) Chapman of Milton; daughters, Mary Baisden (David) of Barboursville and Michele Theiss of Boise, ID; son, Michael Spears (Deborah) of Annapolis, MD; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville on Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, October 16, 2023 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Johnny Chapman.
