James Floyd Hunter, 72, of Chesapeake, Ohio, passed away December 13, 2023. He was born September 3, 1951, in Harold, Kentucky, son of the late Johnny and Margie Fife Hunter. He was also preceded in death by his wife LaDonna Hunter, his late first wife Artiss Alsept, son Ryan Wilson, grandson James Arnold Hunter, Jr., brothers, Dallas, Johnny, and Bobby Hunter, stepmother Hazel Hunter, sons-in-law Edward Bradley and Larry Cool. He is survived by five daughters, Sheila Cool (Ronnie) of WV, Justina Adams (Gary) of Chesapeake, OH, Freda Edwards (Jeremy) of Mansfield, OH, Joanne Adkins (James) of Kentucky, and Kelly Hamrick (Jason) of Tennessee; two sons, James Hunter Sr. (Carla) of Mansfield, OH, and Jason Sloan of WV; one brother, Keith Hunter; twenty grandchildren; nineteen great- grandchildren; special friends Anna Beckett, and Lonnie and Danielle McDonald; furry companions Baby and Fluff. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton.
