Billy Russell Scarberry, 90, of Barboursville, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 22, 2023 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born March 19, 1933, in Hubball, WV, a son of the late Roy and Mary Olive Messinger Scarberry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a Welder with ACF Industries. He was preceded in death by one son, Timmy Scarberry and two brothers, Bernard and Gary Scarberry. He is survived by his wife Janet Adkins Scarberry; four daughters, Anita (Jim) Holley, Connie (Mark) Elkins, Rebekah (Jay) Ferguson and Christina (Sean) McClung; two sons, Billy (Bertha) Scarberry and Alan (Melissa) Scarberry; two sisters, Dixie Bostic and Tina Sbrana along with Timmy, April, Donielle, and Ernie; 16 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
