1939 - 2024
 Cardis Lewis Hall, 84, of Barboursville, passed away, Monday, January 1, 2024, at Paramount Senior Living. He was born March 5, 1939. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pearl Jordan. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Lelia. He is also survived by two children, Kim (Mark) and Eric Hall; four grandchildren, Heather (Chris), Scarlett, Kayla (John), and Andrea; seven great-grandchildren, Xavier, Makenzie, Abigail, Lydia, Landon, Kaylin, and Zenorah. He is also survived by four siblings; Deane (Paul), Buddy (Carol), Helen (Joe), and Iva (Tim); and a host of nieces and nephews; and longtime friends Dwight and Tanya. He retired from BASF after 35 years. He loved being on or near the water. He got to travel the world with his wife. Like Abigail said, “Papaw is sitting on a boat eating cookies and ice cream while drinking his caffeine free Diet Coke.” There will not be any services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

40 years ago he became my dad
After mine was murder
He was always there to listen
