 Elma J. Cline Hatfield Minton, 94, of Barboursville, WV, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by Pastor Rick Glass. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born March 19, 1929, in Hanover, WV, one of twelve children born to Mack and May Bailey Cline. She was a lifetime member of Elmwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Wilkie Maxwell Hatfield and Everett "Mac" Minton, her oldest son, Max Edward Hatfield. She is survived by her son Charles "Chuck" Hatfield of Hurricane; five grandchildren, Erica McVey (Adkins), Jennifer Chapman, Christopher, Cameron and Kyle Hatfield; and her great-grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by friends and family for her welcoming sprit. Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m. Wednesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Elma was a beautiful person inside and out. Max and Max jr used to be friends with my parents Bill and Lila Jones and Max sr shoed our horses!
