
Clayton Edward Edmonds “Tom”, 81, of Barboursville, WV, went home to join his family in Heaven on the evening of January 18, 2024 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House with his loving wife by his side. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Mark Hesson. Burial will be in Barker Ridge Cemetery. He was born October 24, 1942 in Milton, WV, to Clayton Bennett and Vernie Dailey Edmonds. Tom was a graduate of Milton High School playing football and wrestling. He worked hard all his life and retired at the young age of 53, with 31 years and four months at ACF Plant in the Air Brake Department. Tom was preceded in death by both his parents, grandparents, his daughter Teanna Sue Bates and his grandson Christopher Bates. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Judy Kay Edmonds; his son, Tommy (Marsha) Edmonds; his daughter Tammy (Jim) Harshbarger; son-in-law Ronald Bates; grandkids Tommy Jr. Edmonds, Lindsey (Chris) Muncy, Brittany Barrett, Drew (Sarah) Bates, Kristen (Billy) Mullins, Ashley (Steven) Davis and Clayton (Taylor) Edmonds; and 22 great-grandkids.
