Patricia Jean Walters Dille of Russell, Kentucky, formerly of Barboursville, WV, was born September 14, 1937 and went to be with the Lord Jesus, Sunday, March 3, 2024. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville.
She was preceded in death in 2013 by her husband and dance partner, Melvin Dale Dille. Mom and Dad loved to dance and would often push the furniture out of the den to create room for them and a few close friends to "Tennessee Waltz" the night away. They were married in 1954 on a Sunday, Christmas Day and spent 59 years together raising three special children.
She was also preceded in death in 2006 by a wonderful son-in-law and father of two daughters, Dennis Bowman. Patricia is survived by one son, Robert Dille (Marsha), two daughters, Cheryl Dille Bowman Jackson (Greg) and Elizabeth Dille Washington (Bruce); seven grandchildren: Stephen Dille (Matthew), Timothy Dille (Sarah), Sarah Bowman Runyan (Josh), Catelyn Bowman Toney (Jonathan), Kate Jackson, Leela Jackson, Emily Washington Spane and Zach Washington (Emma); and four great-grandchildren: Lilly Spane, Parker Dille, Sam Runyan and Harper Runyan.
In addition, special thanks to all of her caregivers.
Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.
