Oweda Mae “Peachie” Rayburn Mount, 80, of Barboursville, passed away May 25, 2025. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Weston Cremeans. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born May 18, 1945 in Mercerville, OH, a daughter of the late Albert and Marie Smith Queen. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Dewey Rayburn and Paul Staley; daughter, Donna Marie Payne and one son, Jared “Dino” Rayburn; five brothers; one sister; and two grandchildren, Joshua Dale Staley and Christopher Andrew Taylor. She is survived by sons, Dale Rayburn (Tracy) of Hurricane, Dwayne Rayburn (Diana) of Barboursville, Doyle Rayburn of Huntington and Derrick Rayburn (Angie) of Barboursville; daughters-in-law, Amy McClung of Barboursville and Gina Rayburn of Barboursville; fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
