Albert Edwin Mylar, 85, of Barboursville, passed away June 1, 2025. He was born October 8, 1939, in Huntington, WV, son of the late Albert and Muriel Ella Mylar. He was also preceded in death by his wife Carol Anne Goheen Mylar. He is survived by one daughter Katherine Mylar Wintz (Tom) of Huntington, Steven Mylar (Sherry) of Maricopa, AZ; two sisters Shirley Jancsek of Fraziers Bottom and Laura Miller of Huntington; five grandchildren Brenden, Bryan, Katye, Shayne, and Declyn; two great grandchildren Arias and Zemira. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Disease at michaeljfox.org.
