1934 - 2025
Patricia Lou Chapman Gwinn, 90, of Barboursville, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. She was born October 4, 1934 in West Hamlin, W.Va., a daughter of the late, Jesse and Grace Jaynes. She is also preceded in death by her husbands, Ernie Chapman and Gene Gwinn; two brothers, Shannon Jaynes and Durg Jaynes and a special friend, Edie Hay. She was a member of Steele Memorial United Methodist Church, Barboursville. She is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Kanzer (Michael); one son, Raymond Chapman (Xenia); three grandchildren, Ernie Chapman (Sandy), Angie Williams (Jeff) and Alex Kanzer; two great grandchildren, Oliver Chapman and Elliot Chapman; nephew, Jay Jaynes (Cindy); great-nephew, Tanner Jaynes; special friends, Frances McConda, Doris Wooten and the devoted staff at The Village at Riverview. Graveside services will be conducted at Noon, Friday, June 13, 2025 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville with Pastor Steve Hinkle officiating. There will be no visitation.
