Doris Thomas Wooten, 89 of Huntington, WV, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2025. She was born in St. Albans, WV to the late Albert and Anna Thomas. Doris was married to Clyde Wooten for 48 years and was a faithful member of Steele Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a selfless wife, mother and friend and found her greatest joy in her grandchildren. Doris was also blessed by many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde; son, Adam Wooten; step-daughter, Kim Wooten Rose; sister, Francis Lenehan; brother, Paul Thomas.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Stacie (Joe) Nahstoll; four grandchildren, Hunter Rose, Logan (Jen) Rose, Madison Nahstoll and Connor Nahstoll; three great-grandchildren, Liam Rose, Remy Rose, Chloe Rose.
The family would like to thank the entire staff of The Village at Riverview for their compassion and care over the last five years. Per her request, there will be no services other than a private graveside service.
