Karen Sue Ray HatfieldKaren Sue Ray Hatfield, 76, of Milton, WV, passed away July 27, 2025 at home. She was born June 27, 1949, in Barboursville, WV, daughter of the late Clenon E. Ray and Freddie V. McCallister Ray. She was also preceded in death by brothers-in-law Richard Hatfield, J.D. Salmons, and George “Budgie” Wilson, sisters-in-law Lula Wilson, Dolores Hatfield, and Cindy Ray, nephew Steven Hatfield, and nieces Connie Morgan and Marilyn McNeeley. She is survived by her husband Raymond Hatfield; two sons Todd Hatfield (Beth) and Travis Hatfield (Jessica); one brother Edwin “Ed” Ray (Malinda); grandchildren Stefanie Rayburn (Scott), Caleb Hatfield, Christian Hatfield (Angel), Lexie Siders (Rob), Carter Chapman and Jase Hatfield; great grandchildren Zach, Liliana, Lorelei, Lincoln, and Evie; special aunt Irene Evans; special “sister” Rosemary Hatfield; nieces and nephews Jodi Holcomb (Shannon), Chad Ray (Brooke), Jeremy Ross, and Katie Ross; great niece Kayla Holcomb; great nephew Austin Holcomb; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Jean Ann Salmons; brothers-in-law Jack Hatfield (Connie) and Harry Hatfield (Sandra). Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Mark Finley. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The family would to like to thank the staff from Hospice of Huntington and Mary Lucas from CenterWell Home Health. The family requests that in lieu of flowers please donate to Parkinson’s Research of your choice. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

Losing my twin is heart breaking for me. But know it is even harder for you all! I remember when we got nicknamed Ding and Dong when the boys were in Boy Scouts! Miss you more than you will ever know my sweet friend. Meet you again soon I hope! Love, Karen Sue
