David Clinton Chapman, 76, of Milton, WV, passed away August 18, 2025. He was born June 21, 1949, in Huntington, WV, son of the late William "Bill" Albert Chapman and Inez Meadows Chapman. He was also preceded in death by his sister Reba Wyant. He is survived by one son Bryan Chapman (Mandy) of Milton; one daughter Wendy Tomblin (Greg) of Applegrove, WV; six grandchildren Kyndall Bartholomew (Jacob), Madyson Messinger (Jarred), Carsyn Chapman, Michaela Ramsey, Mackenzie Ramsey, and Philip Fugett; and special brother-in-law Larry Wyant; niece Denise Salmons and a host of friends and family. A Celebration of Life will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Don Reynolds. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
