Dolores Jean Burks, 90, of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday, September 8, 2025. She was born March 15, 1935 in Leslie, WV, a daughter of the late Otto Keifer and Pearl Evelyn Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Lester “Shorty” Burks, one sister, Alma Louise Bess, and one brother, William Russell Wyatt. She is survived by one son, Danny Burks of Huntington; one grandson, Jesse Lee Burks and his wife Autumn of Salt Rock; and two great-grandchildren, Mason Burks and Levi Burks. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, September 12, 2025 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
