Michael Dale Woodard, 69, of Ona, W.Va., passed away peacefully at Cabell Huntington Hospital on May 4, 2026. Born on July 22, 1956, Michael was the beloved son of the late Lacey and Lorraine Woodard. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Woodard. Michael is survived by his devoted wife, Connie Woodard, of Ona, W.Va.; his daughter, Meranda Ruble (Jacob Ruble); and his cherished grandchildren, Ryker and Kaden Ruble, who brought his immense pride and joy. Along with extended family and friends whom he loved so much. A man of deep faith and strong work ethic, Michael was an active member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Milton. He had a warm smile welcoming everyone, and always ready to make someone laugh. Though he fought as hard as he could, his body, heart, and soul were ready to go home and be with his Lord and loved ones. Above all, Mike wanted everyone in his life to establish a relationship with the Lord, so he can see us all again. Michael will be remembered as always special, and one of a kind. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Lighthouse Baptist Church, Milton with Pastor Tim Messinger officiating. Burial will follow in Maupin Cemetery, Ona.
