Prayers of Strength, Comfort and Sympathy from the Cheeks, Harris, Palmer, Page and Westmoreland Family.
Herbert and my dad, James (Jab) Harris were good friends when I was small. I have a photo of them standing in front of a car that I would love to share.

No words can describe my sorrow for the loss of "My Sour Patch". A man whom I have known for a few years, but, at times who would make me upset and then make me laugh. It has been a great privilege to be a part of his and his family's lives.
He didn't say a whole lot of words, but, often, the words he did speak said a lot and sometimes in loud volumes. Either you would be almost in tears from either frustration or from laughing. With me, It was mostly from laughing. His actions and facial expressions spoke a lot of his unspoken words.
A song I could get him to bellow out really loud was Stand By Me, and sometimes Hit The Road Jack. Sometimes he would tell me, "I love you". And I honestly believed he did, and I would tell him I loved him. And he enjoyed those hugs.
He will definitely be missed. Herbert,You have truly been a privilege to have known. I love you and will miss you. Love Always, C-C-C-S-O.
