 Billy Joe Whitt, 66, of Milton, WV, passed away October 11, 2026. He was born April 25, 1960, in Huntington. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Doris Whitt; one brother, Doug; and one sister, Barbara. He is survived by his wife, Krista Whitt; children, Brayden (Lexy) Whitt, Sydney (Taylor) Lewis and Mason (Michaelya) Smith; grandchildren, Addley, Everly and Tag Lewis, and Bailee Jo Whitt; siblings, Wanda Lunsford (Carl Wilson), Bob (Joan) Whitt, Rick (Terri) Whitt, Melody (Billy) Ferguson, Michael (Kay) Whitt, Anita Whitt (David Briers) and Jackie (Jimmy) Allen; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who loved him. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2026 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton with closing remarks by Pastor Ron Page. Billy Whitt was my brother in law. One of the kindest, soft spoken, well rounded, “friend to everybody”people I have ever known. The love that my wife had for this man is all I need to know that he will be greatly missed by many, but remembered by all. RIP my friend, you were one of the best.
