Cyril Fleming Berry, 88, of Ashland, Ky., died Jan. 18, 2006, in King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.
Mr. Berry was born, Nov. 16, 1917, in Boone County, W.Va., a son of the late Gaylord E. and Lelia Leftwitch Berry.
He was a supervisor with the Merek Corporation and attended South Ashland United Methodist Church in Ashland.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Frances Caldwell Berry; a son, William Berry of Flatwoods, Ky.; two daughters, Demaris Evelyn Berry Smith of Kingsport, Tenn., and Elizabeth Ann Berry Summers of Columbus, Ohio; a sister, Anna Laura Chapman of Teays Valley, W.Va.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006, at Steen Funeral Home-Marshall Steen Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Gene Pillow. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Mausoleum in Ashland.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
