Todd M. Harvey, 89, of Ashland, Ky., died Monday morning in Trinity Station in Flatwoods, Ky.
She was born Nov. 5, 1916, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of the late Robert and Mary Jane Storer Mitchell.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Harvey Jr., who passed away in 2000; three brothers; and four sisters.
She was a retired teacher with the Ashland Independent School District, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of First Baptist Church in Ashland, the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association and Community Bible Study.
Surviving are a son, Dr. David L. Harvey and his wife, Brenda, of Hickory, N.C.; a daughter, Dr. Carol Harvey Cooper and her husband, Roger, of Ashland; and six grandchildren, Heather M. Harvey of Raleigh. N.C., John R. Harvey and his wife, Lauren, of Memphis, Tenn., David T. Harvey of Sasebo, Japan, and Ryan Cooper, Katie Cooper, and Patrick Cooper, all of Ashland.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ashland Cemetery by the Rev. Ed Talley.
