Loretta Jean Hart Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1919 - 2006 Loretta Jean Hart - 1919-2006 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Posted: 04/25/06 - 10:40:21 pm EDT -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Loretta Jean Hart, 86, of Flatwoods, Ky., formerly of Ashland, Ky., died Tuesday morning, April 25, 2006, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. Mrs. Hart was born May 30, 1919, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Ira and Jessie Jeffers Leake. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hart; a son, Paul Michael Hart; a brother, William “Bill” Leake; and a sister, Elizabeth “Penny” Leake Kelly. She was a devoted homemaker and a Christian. Surviving are brothers Tom Leake, Stanley Leake and James “Dick” Leake, all of Ashland; three sisters, Erma Leake Clarke of Flatwoods, Freda Leake Sturgill of Westwood, Ky., and Mary “Poodie” Leake Slone of Flatwoods; and a host of loving family members and friends. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Charles E. Stewart. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made to steenfuneralhomes.com.

Aunt Jeanie Girl, Thank you for your Love ,and kindness that you have brought to me and my Family. You had alyways been there since I was born and for as long as I can remember, I am going to miss you, and your tender smile and your reply to our so many hello's ," I am sure glad to see you " .It always made coming home so special, I am going to forever miss you , but I will never forget you, Go and be with Uncle Paul and rest in Peace.
