Mildred Louise Hunt (1913-2006)
Mildred Louise Hunt, 92, of Thomasville, N.C., formerly of Ashland, Ky., died May 2, 2006, in Thomasville Hospital in North Carolina.
Mrs. Hunt was born Aug. 20, 1913, in Carter County, Ky., a daughter of the late Kay and Bertha Cooksey Lawson.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter R. Hunt.
She was an employee of C.H. Parsons Co. for 20 years and a lifetime member of Second Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Juanita Kay Hemric and her husband, Hoyt, of Thomasville; grandchildren Stephen Kieffer and his wife, Susan, of Archdale, N.C., Vickie Fry and her husband, Curtis, of Trinity, N.C., and Carla Kieffer of Thomasville; and two great-grandchildren, Travis Fry and Nicolas Kieffer.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2006, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Charles Bush. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
