Myrtle Johnson Reynolds Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1923 - 2006 Myrtle Johnson Reynolds - 1923-2006 Myrtle Johnson Reynolds, 83, of Catlettsburg, Ky., died May 29, 2006, in St. Joseph Hospital Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Ky. She was born March 19, 1923 in Floyd County, Ky., a daughter of the late Ell and Sarah Thornsbury Johnson. Mrs. Reynolds was a homemaker and a member of Oakland Avenue Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Reynolds, in 2005, and a stepdaughter, Barbara Sue Reynolds. She is survived by a son, Dr. Roy D. Reynolds and wife Judy of Franklin, Ky.; a daughter, Gwendolyn R. Webb of Lexington; a brother, Arthur Johnson of Litchfield, Ky.; and three grandchildren, Alan Reynolds of Bowling Green, Ky., Tasha Harilson of Nicholasville, Ky., and Monica Webb of Lexington. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 2006, at Steen Funeral Home-Marshall Steen Chapel in Ashland. The Rev. Philip Duncan will officiate. Burial will be in Davidson Memorial Gardens in Ivel, Ky. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Hello Gwen, Tasha and Monica, I'm sorry about the loss of your mother and grandmother. My parents are in very good health for about any age. So, I haven't experienced the loss of a parent. Let me know if I can help any of you in any way. No, I haven't forgotten about your love for motorcycle riding, Monica. I have been preoccupied with projects here. I'm about caught up. So, we'll hit the road soon! I look forward to enjoying all of your company at church and in the choir.
