Michael L. Renn - 1953-2006
Michael L. Renn, 52, of Ashland, Ky., died suddenly Sunday evening, June 25, 2006, in King’s Daughters Medical Center.
Mr. Renn was born July 23, 1953, in Jeffersonville, Ind., to the late August and Lucille Eberly Renn.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard and two sisters, including his twin sister Mary Lou and Sharon.
He was a shift foreman at Marathon Petroleum Inc. He was a member of Grassland Community Church, where he was a member of the adult Sunday School class.
Surviving are his wife, Jerry Susan Prater Renn of Ashland; a daughter, Tana Michelle Gibbs of Westwood, Ky.; a son, Sean Michael Renn of Ironton, Ohio; two stepsons, David Rogers of Ashland and Steve Rogers, at home; brothers, Marvin, Tommy, Denny and Bryan; sister, Mildred (Millie); and grandchildren, Jadice Gibbs, Corey and Chase Renn, Blake and Brock Rogers, and Adrian and Billy Friend.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Steen Funeral Home-Marshall Steen Chapel in Ashland by Pastor David Herndon. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
