John P. "Jack" Lehman Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1914 - 2006 John P. “Jack” Lehman, 91, of Ashland, Ky., died Friday, June 30, 2006, in Hospice Care Center. Mr. Lehman was born July 23, 1914, in Ashland, a son of the late Charles V. and Bessie Elizabeth Meyers Lehman. He was a cement mixer for Middle States Building Materials for 42 years and a member of the Teamsters Union. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters, one brother and a daughter, Mary Margaret Logsdon. Mr. Lehman is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Juanita Stapleton Lehman; a son, Charles Richard Lehman and wife Linda of Ashland; a daughter, Karen Carroll and husband Bud of Franklin, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at Steen Funeral Home - Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland. The Rev. Ken Vaughn will officiate. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery. Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Friends may make contributions to Hospice Care Center, 2230 Pollard Road, Ashland, KY 41101.
