Dear Mrs. Borst and family, I was very sorry to read of George's passing. I knew him fairly well from golf and bridge at Bellefonte during the 1972-1981 period. He was a fine man of great principle and a fine droll wit. I shall miss him a lot. Please accept my condolences. Sincerely, Bill Sewell Maysville

What a blessing to know Dr. Borst! It has been my pleasure to work with him over the years at Merrill Lynch. He was such an interesting man, always the gentleman and I will miss him very much. My sincere condolences to his family.

I just wanted to express my condolences at the passing of Dr. Borst. I grew up in Ashland and he took care of all our family pets for many years. Among the many times he helped us, one time stands out. I was about 12 years old and our beloved dog, Ted, had been shot by a very sick person in our neighborhood. I was so afraid Ted would die, but Dr. Borst pulled him through and Ted went on to live many more years. I will always remember Dr. Borst's kindness and expertise -- and the Scottie dog in the tiles of his waiting room. He was a good man.
