Linda L. Ross - 1952-2006
Linda L. Ross, 53, of Ashland, Ky., died Sunday afternoon, Aug. 6, 2006, in Oakmont Manor Nursing Facility.
Mrs. Ross was born March 21, 1952, in Chillicothe, Ohio, a daughter of the late Clyde and Betty Smith Short. She was a CMT at Oakmont Manor Nursing Facility and a devoted mother, sister and aunt.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Ross, and her fiance, Homer Paul Jarrell.
Mrs. Ross is survived by two sisters, Darlene Barnett of Ashland and Patricia (John) Meadows of Ashland; three nieces, Carrie (James) Wicker of Ashland, Shawna (Curtis) Haywood of Ashland and Samantha Meadows of Ashland; two great-nephews, Jamie Wicker and John Haywood; and a great-niece, McKayla Haywood.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland. Pastor Charles Rice will officiate. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
