Letha Adkins Fields - 1915-2006
Letha Adkins Fields, 91, of Ashland, Ky., formerly of Fairborn, Ohio, died Sept. 25, 2006, in Woodland Oaks Health Care Facility.
Mrs. Fields was born Feb. 8, 1915, in Grayson, Ky., a daughter of the late William and Perry Ann Adkins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Fields Jr.; brothers Walter Adkins, James Adkins, Leslie Adkins and Willie Adkins; and sisters Mary Wheatley, Julia Reliford, Maudie Ross, Emma Moore and Stella Mae Adkins.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Maple Avenue Church of God in Fairborn.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by Dr. Steve Ruby. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006, at the funeral home.
