I was searching for my dear friend from high school online and am so saddened to find the news of her passing. Please accept my very late condolences. I was only in Ashland for one year, and Jonda was so kind to me, so sweet. It felt good to be around her. She was always thoughtful to include me, and all these years later I think of her so fondly and with such love in my heart. I hope in the time since Jonda's passing your family has come to find peace and acceptance. I will continue to include her and you in my prayers. Blessings, Emma Barry

I just heard about the passing of one of my favorite teachers, "Ms. Perky" as we all called her. That name fit her so well. She was a great teacher and later on an amazing friend. She will be deeply missed. May God bless her family.

Twenty five years ago this month I saw Jonda standing on the stairs of the Student Ctr at Eastern KY University. Life as I knew it, changed for me and several others.
- Specifically Tim -
I am a different person because of her and no one will ever reverse her influence. Thanks Virginia you and JM did well.
Mallory you are every bit as beautiful as your sister. Inside and out. I love you for exactly who you are! Tim and I will forever be bonded together with you because of these events.
We are some of the most fortunate people on the planet to know you and your family.

Mrs. Blevins and Family: I was so saddened to hear of Jonda's passing. Although our paths hadn't crossed in many years, I can't help but remember Jonda's infectious smile and personality. She literally lit up a room when she was in it and lifted everyone's mood with her presence. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this enormous loss.

Mrs. Blevins and Family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Jonda has been a dear friend of mine since High School. I wish I had more time to visit on Saturday, but with my mother being in the hospital, I had to get back to her. If you EVER need anything just call me anytime @ 859-333-5130.

Virginia, Mal and Sara,
My love and prayers are with you as you walk through this difficult time. Thank you for sharing Jonda with us. We will always remember her jovial spirit and sense of humor. She was a great friend, person and especially mother to Sara. How fortunate we all are to have known her! With time we will be able to rejoice that she is at peace and understands the immeasurable love of Christ as she is in His presence.May His peace be with you, your family and friends of Jonda.

I just recently learned of Jonda's passing and am so sad to hear of your incredible loss. I have so many memories of Jonda over the years as well as spending time with your whole family. You may not know this, but my oldest son, Justin, was named after Jonda. They shared the same middle name, just a different spelling. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Love, Ce

I am very sorry to hear of Ms. Perkins' passing. I was in one of her math classes at Verity during the 95-96 school year. I still recall the last day of school that year, when she asked me to take a box down to the dumpster. I had misunderstood and took it to the school "counselor" instead. It is a funny moment when I think back. I would like to send my deepest condolences to her daughter and family. Thanks for teaching me Ms. Perkins. God bless.

To Jonda's Family:
Please accept my genuine expression of sympathy for the passing of Jonda. I last spoke with her less than 2 years ago and enjoyed our conversation as we stood in Foodfair discussing relationships, kids and general topics about life. She always talked about Sara, their routine and how much fun they had together.
Jonda was such a devoted Mother and Sara was so fortunate to have her Mother's input and consistancy and support through this time in her life. We should all relect on the qualities that made Jonda special, the qualities that we can learn from and carry with us now.
Sincerely,
Angelia Cumbo Clark Nabors
