Ruth Ann Foster, 59, passed away at her home in Hewitt, Texas, Thursday, September 28, 2006.

Mrs. Foster, My sister sent me the article about Ruth Ann's passing. I want you to know that I offer you my most sincere sympathy. I still remember our days together at Central Baptist. She always brightened any event just with her presence. Mother cherished your friendship and thought so very highly of Ruth Ann. I know that God will be your strength at this time of loss. Dear Mrs. Foster and family, You have my deepest sympathy on the passing of Ruth Ann. She blessed my life only briefly in the '70's. She was a dear friend to my friend and co-worker Karen Broughton. I met Ruth Ann through Karen and working at Diniaco's. I remember when she was taking Greek and came in and talked to Nick, she knew more Greek than he did!! She was so intelligent and always made me want to learn more and do the best I could at everything. I remember she liked strawberrys! Ruthie wanted dishes with strawberrys on them. I remember the struggles going to school in Pineville and the old Pontiac that kept breaking down on her. I also remember going to church with Ruthie and Karen at Central Baptist. She was a wonderful person. I have always thought about her. I am so happy to have been blessed with her passing through my life, she (& Karen) are people I will never forget. I desperately needed their influence in my life and they were both there at the exact time I needed them. I will keep them in my heart forever. Carolyn
