Ralph Bernard Morman - 1924-2006
Ralph Bernard Morman, 82, of Ashland, Ky., died Monday, Oct. 9, 2006, at his residence surrounded in love by his son Ralph Jr. and his wife Debra.
Mr. Morman was born Jan. 29, 1924, in Ashland, a son of the late Orin and Ella George Morman. He was a former crane operator and member of the Operating Engineers Union. He was a decorated Army veteran and served in WW II in the South Pacific. He was a former member and deacon of Old Orchard Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Carrolll Morman, and a son, Ronald Gene Morman.
Survivors include two sons, Ralph Morman Jr. and his wife Debra of Ashland and Kevin Morman of Tampa, Fla.; a daughter, Melissa Walkert and her husband Robert of Tampa; and six grandchildren.
There will be no public funeral or visitation. Friends and family are welcome to visit the family at the residence to offer their condolences.
