Infant Natalee Marie Finley
Natalee Marie Finley, 28 day old daughter of Thomas Finley II of Ashland and Kayla Nicole Ray of Rush, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Oct. 9, 2006, at her residence in Rush.
Natalee was born Sept. 11, 2006, in Ashland, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandfather, Gary Leslie Ray; paternal great-grandfather, Grayson Finley; and her paternal great-grandparents, Samuel and Odessa Howard.
In addition to her parents, Natalee is survived by her maternal grandparents, Gary and Paula Ray of Rush; paternal grandfather, Thomas Finley and his girlfriend Lana J. Vickers of Ashland; paternal grandmother, Vaneesa Haney and her husband Robert of Ashland; maternal great-grandmothers, Brenda Ray of Delbarton, W.Va., and Roberta Ferguson of Cannonbsurg; maternal great-grandfather, Proctor Smith of Blaine, Ky.; paternal great-grandmother, Anna Finley of Catlettsburg; uncles, Gary Ray Jr. and his girlfriend Jessica Stewart, William Ray and Cody Ray, all of Rush; aunt, Amy French and her husband Mike of Flatwoods; and first cousins, Brook Laurin French and Aaliyah Page Ray.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006, at Steen Funeral Home- Marshall Steen Chapel in Ashland by Pastor John Haney. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service hour Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.

Tommy and Kayla, I am really sorry for you losing your baby girl. My exwife and I lost our first child, a little baby girl, and it is a very hurtful situation. I'm so sorry for your loss. I believe I went to school eith your dad, though I was in the same class as his older brother, James, if that is the same Tom Finley. My sister, Teresa Erwin, may have been in the same class as Tom. Her daughter has lost 2 babies so we know a little about what you are going through. God bless you.
