Dolores M. Carter Hughes - 1915-2006
Dolores M. Carter Hughes, 91, of Bryant’s Health Care Center, died Nov. 30, 2006, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky.
Mrs. Hughes was born June 15, 1915, in Columbus, Ohio, a daughter of the late John and Hazel Glen Carter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Robert A. Hughes, in 1999.
She was a homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Richard Allen Hughes and his wife, Chena, of Ashland; a daughter, Marla F. Atkinson and her husband, John, of Duluth, Ga.; and grandchildren Holly Lynn Hughes, Richard Allen Hughes Jr., Evan Andrew Hughes, Benton Holt IV and Robert Holt.
The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, at Ashland Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel by William Moore. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery.
