I was so sorry to read of David's death. Even though we were not close, he was a class mate of mine and it is always sad to see a death of a classmate and a good man..God bless his family.

It is amazing how fast time flies. I remember as a child how close our families were and how far we have grown. I just wish we had stayed closer through the years so that I would have been able to know David, as an adult, and his family. When Mother told me about David I was very shocked to hear of his poor health. I am so sorry for your personal loss because of the hole in your hearts. Yet, I assure that your thoughts and memories of your precious David will help mend that hole over time. Don, Betty, Mark, Bobby, Bryan and families I love you all and you will be in the thoughts and prayers of our family for some time. Keep in touch. Love, Gwen

we are so very sorry for your loss. If there is ever anything you need, please know that we will always be here & would be glad to do anything we can to help out during this time of loss.
Dave used to stop by our house all the time. Tim & I miss him so much. He was one of the few people that ever stopped by to visit us. He was truly one of the best friends that Tim has ever had. Dave will be missed by all of us, more than we can say. He was a great guy & we will always think of him with fond memories of the good times we had with him.

Ryan,Chad,Seth,Don and Betty,
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember thinking your Dad was just about the cutest thing I had ever seen when I was 10 years old. We all went to Myrtle Beach and he was so charming too. You guys have good memories and that will get you through the hardest times.
Don and Betty, I am so sorry. I know your hearts are broken.
Our prayers are with you and may you find peace that only the Lord can bring.

Don, Betty, Bob, Mark, and Bryan:
I was so very saddened to hear about David. I regularly keep up with Ashland news via The Daily Independent web site and saw the obituary. You must be having a very hard time with this, and please know that you'll all be in my prayers for weeks and months to come. Even though David was four years younger than Bob and me and I didn't ever get to know him that well (a four-year difference is substantial when you're kids!), just knowing he's gone affects me deeply. He was always so pleasant and fun-loving when we were all growing up on Ranch Road, an important part of the neighborhood group of us kids who occasionally played together, including the infamous "kick the can" games on summer evenings in the circle in front of the Gentrys' house. I'm sure your wonderful memories of David will keep you going in the years to come, along with the incomparable love and strength that comes from our incredible Lord. I hope I can touch base with you all again sometime when I come to Ashland again, Don and Betty. And Bob---send me your e-mail address, OK? Hope you're still doing well with your restaurant out there in Utah. Let's keep in touch, OK? Catch you all later.

Don and Betty,
We are so sad for you both. To think that you buried Bob on Sunday and now you will bury your own son tomorrow.
We have not seen you since Sharon died, but we remember you well Particularly we remember the good things you did at Don's for my father and for Charles' brother. We thank you for being part of our lives in Ashland. And please know that you are in our hearts and thoughts through these sad days. We send our love and respect to Sharon's father and your brother, Saul.
