Dear Berginnis Family, My name is Cy Kincaid and you know me from the hotels in my travels to see the Diamondbacks. I befriended Ed and the family in Pittsburgh when Brandon was first called up. I read the article today on azcentral and I was saddened. Ed was so nice to my buddy and me over the years. He was so proud of Brandon and I remember him wearing the Webb jersey so proudly, particularly before one game in Cincinnati. It was always cool when we spotted him because he always had good stories and loved to talk baseball. He was a nice man and we will miss seeing him and chatting insider baseball in Pittsburgh and Cincinnati. My condolences to the entire family. --Cy Kincaid

It was my pleasure to have known Ed. He was such a wonderful person. He hired me in 1981 at KPC when I was just 18 years old. Have seen him often throughout the years and had the pleasure to work with Rhonda as well. Your entire family will be in my prayers.

Rhonda and Alicia, Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your families in this time of sorrow. Meeting your father only a handful of times showed me where you girls got your sense of humor and compassion towards others. In this time remember to be gentle with each other and mainly to yourselves. They say time can help and make things easier, however you'll learn that your relationships did not end but still continues in another form. There are such things as guardian angels and everyone who knew your father knows he'll be keeping a watching eye on his angels on earth. Lots of love and hope from the Moores.

Diane, I am sorry to read of Ed's passing in the Ashland newspaper. After all of the changes at Kentucky Power over the years, I lost contact with numerous people. In fact, I am no longer with the company either because of continued downsizing. I want to remind you that it was a pleasure working with Ed since 1980. He always took the time to make my job in corporate communications a little easier because his explanations of issues gave insights that I could write about in a better way than on my own. I will put your family on our church prayer list this morning, and please let me know if I can do anything to help. Chuck Ferguson Pikeville, KY

Dianne, Rhonda and Alicia, I don't know if you remember me; but I clearly remember all of you. Rhonda, you started first grade with my daughter, Angela Rigsby, who is married now and lives in Lexington. Dianne, you once painted a picture of me to give to my mother as a Christmas present. I will always remember that. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband and father. I am certain this is a very difficult time in your life. There is no way I can fully relate. My mother transitioned in 2000 at the age of 80 and I am still grieving. Know that I will carrying you in my thoughts and in my prayers. I will be thinking of you and sending you such positive thoughts that you will get through this. Should you feel like you want to call, Dianne, my number is 606-329-0933. I'm sure you have friends you can turn to; as I said, if you feel the neede to talke, I am available to listen. Take care of one another. Be gentle with yourselves. Time helps some. Not a lot; but it does make it easier to bear. {{{{{{{{{{{{{{many many hugs to all of you}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

My condolences to the family of Eddie. My prayers for you at this time in loss of your loved one. I knew Eddie when he started to work for Appalachian Power Company in Beckley, WV some years ago. I also knew his father. He worked there before transfering to Kentucky Power Co in Ashland. I worked in the customer accounts (at that time was called accounting) and if I recall Eddie was a meter reader when he started. William F Epling Orlando, FL
