Betty Mullins Riddle - 1947-2007

Betty Mullins Riddle, 59, of Westwood, went to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, in King’s Daughters Medical Center following an extended illness.

Mrs. Riddle was born Feb. 11, 1947, in Lawrence County, Ky., a daughter of the late Orville and Ruth Parker Mullins. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Mullins.

She was a homemaker and attended First Baptist Church of South Point, Ohio.

Mrs. Riddle is survived by her husband of 40 years, Marion “Moon” Riddle of Westwood; a son, Orville Riddle and wife Jennifer of Virginia; two daughters, Pam Christian and husband Mike of South Point and Ruth Bryan and husband Kenny of Ashland, Ky.; two brothers, Gary Mullins (JoAnn) of Louisa and Ronnie Mullins of Louisa; four sisters, Elizabeth Freeman of Aberdeen, Ohio, and Linda Mullins, Brenda Mullins and husband James and Deborah Whitt and husband Bob, all of Louisa; and five grandchildren, Susan, Brittany, Christopher, Hailey and Luke. She is also survived by several special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007, at First Baptist Church of South Point. Pastors Larry Mullens and Pete Lunsford will officiate. Burial will be in Fannin Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 tonight, Jan. 22, 2007, at Steen Funeral Home - Marshall Steen Chapel in Ashland.

Friends may make contributions to American Cancer Society, 4338 13th St., Ashland, KY 41102.
