Mr. Heffner, Thornton & Becky,
So sorry to learn the loss of Karl.
I know he did lots of good things through out his life and at Blazer.
My father, Carl Prichard, passed away in January 2007 and I know he
worked alot with Karl on issues at
Blazer when my dad was on the school board. May God bless you all and may each of you find peace in your loss. Time and faith heals all.

Dear Thornton,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Just saw the obituary today and I'm sad. I was just thinking about Karl yesterday. He not only accomplished everything listed but he also was a leader in changing things at Blazer. If it weren't for Karl and his actions, rallies, etc, girls might still be forced to wear dresses. He helped instigate Senior Skip Day, a tradition, when the faculty banned it. We just shipped, leaving about 8 students remaining at Blazer, and nobody was reprimanded. He was important to the class of '72 and I will always remember him. I'll always remember you too for being so nice to Raven. Thanks. You and your family are in my thoughts.

Mr.Heffner, Thornton, Becky, and Lane, We are so very sorry to hear of your loss of a son, older brother, and father, Karl. My brothers, Chad and Robin, and sister, Lloyd, all have such fond memories of growing up with all of you on Iroquois Avenue. Even though we all have moved on to our adult lives, we are still touched by important people in our lives. Please know that we care and that we send our prayers and love. We are so grateful for having the opportunity to know Karl.

I was sadden at the news of Karl's passing. He was a very well liked guy at school. I was just looking at photos last month from 92 reunion and have several with Karl in them. I wish I could come and pay my repects but my Mother in law passed Sunday and her service is tomorrow at 1 pm here in Charleston WV. Please know I will be thinking of you all.

To Thornton, Becky & other family: Karl was special and will always live in my memory as a smiling, warm and kind teenager. I remember when we all lived on Iroquois Ave and your Mother car-pooled with us to Putnam. At Paul Blazer, he was extremely popular but remained friendly to everyone. God Bless you at this difficult time.
