Herma Edith Hutchinson Crank - 1914-2007
Herma Edith Hutchinson Crank, 92, of Lexington, Ky., formerly of Ashland, Ky., died Wednesday, March 28, 2007, in Northpoint Health Care Center in Lexington following an extended illness.
Mrs. Crank was born Sept. 20, 1914, in Rush, Ky., a daughter of the late Oswal Burkhart and Liddie Francis Berry Hutchinson. She was a homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church. She was also a member of a sewing club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Crank, in 1987; an infant son, Gary Roger Crank; a brother, Chester Hutchinson; and two sisters, Carrie Holbrook and Thelma Burke.
Mrs. Crank is survived by a son, Danny H. Crank and wife Ann of Lexington; grandchildren William Crank and wife Jeannette of Lexington, Scott Crank of Florida and Dr. Jennifer Crank Keen and husband Dr. Jeff Keen of Jacksonville, Fla.; and great-grandchildren Kyle, Gabriella and Anna.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2007, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Donald Young. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
